62% alpaca, 29% nylon and 9% wool
Kos consists of alpaca fibre which, together with wool, is blown into a nylon stocking. This results in a soft, light and airy yarn.
The alpaca is approx. three times warmer than normal wool and thus insulates well. The fibre is hollow and it breathes so that it feels warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot. The wool is added in this quality to give elasticity and volume. Both alpaca and wool have good heat-regulating properties.
If washing in a machine, we recommend that all wool garments are washed separately on a wool program for the most gentle treatment. Spin well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel.
