100% merino wool
Merino wool is not only insulating, but also conducts moisture away from the body and retains heat, even when damp, thanks to the structure of the fibres. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water before it starts to feel wet.
The yarn is superwash-treated so that it can withstand frequent machine washing.
Baby wool Lanett has been on the market since the early 1980s and is still as popular a yarn today as it was then. However, usage has changed. Now it is not only used for baby clothes, but for the whole family.
If washing in a machine, we recommend that all wool garments are washed separately on a wool program for the most gentle treatment. Due to merino wool's unique absorbency, it is important to spin hand-knitted garments well, before drying them flat, preferably on top of a towel.
