70% baby alpaca and 30% mulberry silk

Baby alpaca is not fibre from cute little alpaca babies, but the term used for alpaca fiber between 20-23 microns (micrometres) and is one of the finest and softest alpaca qualities used for hand knitting yarn. This softness, together with the silk's smooth surface, gives a quality that feels extra mild and cool against the skin.

If washing in a machine, we recommend that all wool garments are washed separately on a wool program for the most gentle treatment. Spin well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel.
